This Agreement is between you (“you”) and Sidestep Studio LLC (“we,” “us”), the developer of the origin-o-gram software (“the Software”). By downloading, installing, or using the Software — including by checking the acceptance box or clicking “I Agree” — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not download or use the Software.

1. License

We grant you a free, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on Mac computers you own or control, for both personal and commercial astrophotography use. This license covers the compiled application only.

2. Restrictions

You may not: (a) redistribute, sell, rent, or sublicense the Software; (b) reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble it, except where that restriction is prohibited by law; (c) remove or alter any copyright or attribution notices; or (d) use it in any unlawful manner.

3. Ownership

The Software, its source code, and all intellectual property in it remain the exclusive property of Sidestep Studio LLC. This license grants you no ownership rights. © 2026 Sidestep Studio LLC. All rights reserved.

4. Free, As-Is, Experimental

The Software is provided to you free of charge. It is an independent tool, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Celestron, ZWO, Apple, or any other manufacturer. Its outputs (histograms, statistics, exposure verdicts, calibration and sub-grade assessments, dither checks) are informational aids only and may be incomplete or incorrect. You are solely responsible for any imaging, storage, or file-management decision you make. Do not rely on it as your only safeguard against data loss — keep your own backups.

5. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Software is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any result it produces is accurate or reliable. You assume the entire risk as to its use and performance.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Sidestep Studio LLC be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, images, profits, or equipment, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Because the Software is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims shall not exceed USD $0. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

7. No Obligation to Support or Update

We may, but are not required to, provide updates, fixes, or support. We may modify or discontinue the Software at any time.

8. Termination

This license ends automatically if you breach it. On termination you must stop using and delete the Software.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

10. Entire Agreement

This is the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Software and supersedes any prior understanding.
